Abstract (Summary)
Metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) diodes were fabricated for future use as surface plasma wave (spw) enhanced solar cells. To fabricate the diodes installation of an electron beam evaporation system with glow discharge capability is performed. Testing equipment for solar cell evaluation per ASTM 1021 Standard is constructed. Diodes constructed for ideal SPW enhancement show little response to direct illumination without coupling.
