Abstract

Le gouvernement soviétique a instauré une norme à l'échelle de l'URSS entière, norme prenant la forme d'un homme d'un type nouveau, de l'homme soviétique. Ce mémoire vise d'abord, par l'analyse du discours de la Pravda, journal officiel du Comité central du Parti communiste, à décerner les contours de cette norme. Il vise ensuite, par l'analyse d'articles scientifiques portant sur les Roms en URSS, à voir comment le gouvernement soviétique a tenté de normaliser les Roms, d'en faire de véritables hommes soviétiques par le biais de différentes techniques disciplinaires et de régulation. Finalement, il vise à comprendre, par l'analyse d'une partie de la littérature scientifique portant sur les Roms, comment des discours peuvent produire des marqueurs qui différencient les groupes en traçant une ligne entre la norme et l'anormalité.

The Soviet government established a standard across the entire USSR, a standard taking the form of a new type of man, the Soviet man. This dissertation aims first, through the analysis of the speech of Pravda, the official newspaper of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, to determine the contours of this norm. It then aims, through the analysis of scientific articles on the Roma in the USSR, to see how the Soviet government attempted to normalize the Roma, to make them real Soviet men through different disciplinary and regulatory techniques. . Finally, it aims to understand, through the analysis of part of the scientific literature on the Roma, how discourses can produce markers which differentiate the groups by drawing a line between the norm and the abnormality.
