If you bump into one of Gary Gygax's brontosauruses in the hollow center of the world, he doesn't want you to be upset if it acts strangely.
It wouldn't be because Gygax doesn't know how the giant creatures are supposed to behave. He just likes to keep things more interesting than your more run-of-the-mill dinosaur encounters.
Besides, you have more important things to worry about, such as the gang of demons sent by the Master of Jackels to tear your body apart.
But don't panic, these odd things are happening because you are playing a game of Gygax's invention called Dangerous Journeys, which can send its players anywhere within the realm of their imaginations.
You don't have to journey to the center of the earth to speak to Gygax, however. He will be at Adventureland, 620 N. Main St., Bloomington, from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Should his name sound familiar, it's because he is the same Gary Gygax who created the Dungeons and Dragons role-playing game, which became the Dungeons...
