Abstract

Ce memoire est le resultat d'un projet de recherche theorique et pratique dans le domaine de la performance.

J'utilise ce medium artistique comme un lien direct entre le quotidien et l'imaginaire esthetique.

L'une des fonctions de l'art qui m'interesse est d'explorer la communication qui accompagne le faire.

Je travaille le corps comme element de depouillement de mon vecu personnel en tant qu'individu inscrit dans une societe.

La performance peut etre une sorte "d'exhibition subtile et creatrice" du corps d'un sujet/objet agissant: le corps du performeur dans un temps et un espace definis.

Ainsi l'artiste met en question sa solitude, son territoire, l'autorite et sa liberte.

This thesis is the result of a theoretical and practical research project in the field of performance.

I use this artistic medium as a direct link between everyday life and the aesthetic imagination.

One of the functions of art that interests me is to explore the communication that accompanies doing.

I work the body as an element of stripping of my personal experience as an individual registered in a society.

The performance can be a kind of "subtle and creative exhibition" of the body of an acting subject/object: the body of the performer in a defined time and space.

Thus the artist questions his solitude, his territory, his authority and his freedom.
