Abstract

Xylexpert est un logiciel de regulation du sechage du bois utilisant les principes des systemes de commande flous. Particulierement adapte a la representation des connaissances expertes dans le domaine du sechage du bois, la logique floue est donc utilisee dans ce logiciel pour determiner des consignes climatiques optimales au processus de sechage du bois. Ainsi, la presente etude porte sur la realisation d'une serie d'essais de validation de la premiere version de Xylexpert dans le but de connai tre son etat de fonctionnement et de proposer des ameliorations souhaitables. Pour cela, nous avons realise une serie de cinq essais de sechage avec de l'erable 4/4.

Lors de ces essais, les fonctions expertes, greffees sur le logiciel de regulation classique de Cathild Industrie (CH11Z), n'avaient pour tache que d'afficher a l'ecran les divers parametres de ces fonctions, sans jamais reguler le sechoir comme tel. Il ne s'agissait donc pas ici d'etudier les performances d'un logiciel operationnel, mais simplement de detecter autant que faire se peut les erreurs d'ecriture et de conception du programme.

Xylexpert is wood drying control software using the principles of fuzzy control systems. Particularly suited to the representation of expert knowledge in the field of wood drying, fuzzy logic is therefore used in this software to determine optimal climatic instructions for the wood drying process. Thus, the present study focuses on carrying out a series of validation tests of the first version of Xylexpert with the aim of knowing its operating state and proposing desirable improvements. For this, we carried out a series of five drying tests with 4/4 maple.

During these tests, the expert functions, grafted onto the classic control software from Cathild Industrie (CH11Z), had the sole task of displaying the various parameters of these functions on the screen, without ever regulating the dryer as such. . It was therefore not a question here of studying the performance of operational software, but simply of detecting as much as possible the writing and design errors of the program.
