Working through high school and college, multi-tasking was a way of life for Julie Hagenmaier. But when she was a pharmaceutical sales representative, with a young child and a husband who traveled, she needed help with some household tasks.

"There were services out there, but they had rules and regulations. like they would only grocery shop every two weeks." she said.

So Hagenmaier founded My Girl Friday Inc. The concierge service does everything for clients from shopping to taking a pet to the vet. Since its beginning in 1999, Hagenmaier's business has grown to provide service in 65 U.S. markets and, in July, started offering franchises,

Hagenmaier. 34, earned a bachelor's degree in 1997 from the University of Cincinnati. Before founding My Girl Friday, she worked at a hospital pharmacy and as a clinical researcher. She's been a guest lecturer at area colleges and volunteers her time to Rotary Know Theatre Tribe, St, Rita's School for the Deaf and co-founded a local women's CEO roundtable.

"If you believe in yourself, you can do amazing things," she said.
