The reality of the automotive industry-- Chrysler corporation under distress
by Lazarus, David, M.I.S., Wayne State University, 2009, 87 pages; AAT 1462575

Abstract (Summary)

Chrysler Corporation has had a history of peaks, which were characterized by great innovations and products, and valleys, that were created by poor management, unexpected situations such as the recession, fuel costs in the 1970s, the 9/11 World Trade Center plane bombing, government mandates, and by and large poor planning. The solution is product innovation, product quality, creativity, and a return to core values and priorities in its leadership. The relentless leader will need to make wise decisions and drive the company with a purpose, making the cause greater than self.
