Browsing Dissertations and Theses

If you are searching only ProQuest Dissertations and Theses or Index to Theses

If you are searching only within ProQuest Dissertations and Theses or Index to Theses, when you click the Browse tab, you will be taken directly to the dissertations and theses browse:

1. Click the Browse tab. You see the Dissertations browse page. By default, you will be browsing by Subject. You can also browse by Location.

Browsing by Subject

1. Scan the list to find a subject. Or click on a letter to move to the first subject beginning with that letter.
2. If you want to see all documents from a specific subject, click View Documents after the topic.

Browsing by Location

1. Scan the list to find a region. Or click on a letter to move to the first region beginning with that letter.
2. If you want to see all documents from a specific region, click View Documents after the region.

If searching multiple databases

If you are browsing within the ProQuest Dissertations and Theses database and any other database, you will need to begin by selecting the ProQuest Dissertations and Theses s & Theses search.

1. Click the Publications tab.
2. Enter Dissertations into the search field and click Search.
3. In the list of titles, click ProQuest Dissertations and Theses.
   You see the Dissertations browse.
4. By default, you will be browsing by Subject. You can also browse by Location.
